Luxe Lodges on Lake Erie ~ Bunkie ~ Beach Access

The "Bunkie" was a cute and comfortable place within easy walking distance around Port Dover. Positive: The "Bunkie" was a cute and comfortable place that had everything we needed for our stay, including a well appointed kitchen and BBQ outside with patio. It is a separate unit with its own parking spot. It is a quiet location and very close to any places of interest in Port Dover within walking distance. Negative: The bedroom is very tiny. Fine if you are young and sleep through the night. Not too good if you are 60+ and have to do some gymnastics to get out of bed to go to the washroom during the night.

Positive: Die Lage in der Nähe vom Lake Erie, den man über eine kleine Privatstraße schnell erreichen kann. Auch in den Ort kann man sehr gut zu Fuß gehen. Negative: Das Haus ist noch kleiner, als es auf den Fotos aussieht, und es gibt sehr wenig Stauraum, keinen Schrank, keine Kleiderbügel und kaum Handtuchhaken. Die Koffer haben wir im Auto gelassen, weil dafür kein Platz im Haus war.

Very updated which was great. Smaller than we expected so travel light. Great for 2 people for a couple of nights 3 would be tight.

Cute place, good for 1 or 2 guests Positive: Really cute place. Small, but still spacious. Comfortable bed. Negative: Bathroom was a little small, especially the toilet space, but we made it work. There was a bit of a bug problem. Hubby noticed a little cloud of gnats or no-see-ems when we walked in, like someone left the door open and a bunch flew in. I don't think they were fruit flies, but tiny, pesky bugs. We killed quite a few. They were not landing on our beers, that's why I don't think they were fruit flies. We didn't have any food out at all. They didn't bite, just pesky

The place was very clean and in a great location. Just walking distance to everything downtown Port Dover. Communication with the owner was super easy and quick to respond to questions. We would stay there again if it’s available!
